Pick of the Season

Blueberry season is a magical time in the Pacific Northwest. Tagging along with the Shickich family, we had the pleasure of hand picking at Bow Hill Blueberries. Established in 1947, their site is the oldest family-run blueberry farm in Skagit Valley. They also specialize in small-batch organic heirloom blueberry products. Needless to say - we were blueberry heaven. We spent most of the day grazing, picking, and chasing our little ones around the fields. A great way to spend the weekend supporting local organic farms and to gain better understanding where our food actually comes from.
