Family & Friends Hike: Rattlesnake Ledge Trail

A monthly friends and family hike is our goal this year. The month of January brought us to Rattlesnake Ledge. A rewarding hike with views of the Cedar River watershed, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake and Chester Morse Lake. This was also an experiment of how hiking with kiddos between the ages of 1 1/2 and 4 years would be. It's about 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain around 1100 feet so probably in that maximum day hike that had some impact on nap time. We had a perfect day. Plenty of sunshine, talking on the trail, and lunch at the summit. Great day for a hike!
